Yandong Yao is the founder of yMatrix inc. which focuses on large scale time series database based on PostgreSQL.

Before this, Yandong is the Greenmplum R&D head in Beijing, who joined Greenplum in 2010. Yandong has also worked for Sun Microsystem and Symantec for several years.

Yandong Yao obtained MS degrees in computer science from ISCAS at 2005, BS degrees from Shandong University at 2002.
