Call for Papers

We are ready to accept your proposals for sessions!

You can submit proposals for Talks and Workshops. Proposals should fit in one of the 3 tracks: Training, Ops and Dev. The submission period has begun Tuesday, June 13. 2017 and closes Sunday, August 13. 2017. That means you have only 51 days left! Remember Austin2017 will only be as good as the sessions you present. Submit early, submit often!

Norris Conference Center

Norris Conference Centers – Austin is conveniently located in Central NW Austin, at the corner of Anderson Lane and Burnet Road at the Northcross Center. It also features a Red Oak Ballroom for larger functions and social events of all types. Norris Conference Centers – Austin has been designed, like all Norris Centers, to facilitate adult learning. No crazy color schemes to distract attendees and all of the services and amenities needed to focus on the task at hand. This is the recipe for successful events.

Policy

PGConf US does not tolerate harassment of PGConf US participants in any form. Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, displaying sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks and social events around PGConf US. Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the PGConf US co-chairs.

Disciplinary Action

If a participant engages in behavior violating this code of conduct, the PGConf US co-chairs may take any action they deem appropriate, including ejection from the conference with no refund or contacting the authorities.

PGConf US staff are willing to help participants contact hotel/venue security or the NJPD, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference.

If for any reason you have registered PGConf US but are unable to attend, PGConf US will permit full refunds up until 30 days before the conference. After this period, your ticket is nonrefundable.
